BOYS AND GIRLS

AGES 5 TO 14

This program takes place between May and July and is a 5 week program. We currently have 3 age groups: Under 9 (Ages 5-8), Under 12 (Ages 9-11) and Under 15 (Ages 12-14). Players are divided into teams of 5 to 7 players in each age group.  The goal of the program is to introduce non-contact features of rugby through a modified version of the game that uses two-hand touch in lieu of a tackle. Players will learn how to present the ball in a modified ruck, how to set up and feed an uncontested scrum, simple lineouts as well as the basic structure of an attacking and defending line. No experience is needed to participate.

 This program only requires a simple sign up which will be available in early May. This is a free program.

 Players will need a pair of cleats and water.
