Getting ahead of the Game!

Jacksonville Youth Rugby is taking off with a series of pre-season skill builder clinics and parent meetings. Our first skill builder clinic saw 18 kids between 5 and 14 running through age based skills and drills. Contact aged players were led by Coach Bob, and began learning key factors of contact skills. The non-contact group was led by Coach Jen who had led the kids in rugby games aimed to teach basic ball handling, evasion and team work. After an hour of rugby, kids were treated to a snack while parents met at the picnic tables to hear about the upcoming inaugural season.

Join us on January 27th at 3:00PM at Camp Tomahawk Park for more rugby action.

*All kids between 5 and 14 are welcome. While we encourage you to bring the kids to each pre-season clinic, missing one will not prevent anyone from being able to participate in the others.
